Graduated in Political Economy with a PhD in Public Policy, she has worked for several years in the field of transport systems economics and regulation, managing numerous projects for both public institutions and private clients.
From 2013 to 2015, she chaired the Board of Directors of the public transport agency of the Province of Rimini.
In July 2016, she was appointed Councillor for Mobility, Maritime State Property, and Territorial Planning and Management for the Municipality of Rimini, a position that was renewed in October 2021 to continue overseeing the important urban regeneration process that Rimini is pursuing to promote and strengthen its tourism positioning on the international stage.
